Overview
Ocra’s Universal Inventory solves the pain points that come with managing multiple demand channels. Rather than logging into multiple seller consoles or emailing multiple support teams, you can self-manage your inventory from one place: Ocra.
- Centralized - Combines all available e-commerce inventory in one pool available across all channels
- Dynamic - When a spot sells through one channel, Ocra automatically removes it from the others, preventing oversolds
- Permissioned - Allows everyone the right degree of visibility and control down to the user and location level
Total Parking Spaces and Online Allocation
When your locations are first onboarded into Ocra, the Total Parking Spaces
and Online Allocation
are pre-programmed according to your wishes during onboarding.
Find this info on the General tab for your location:
Should you ever want to change one of these numbers, you will need to email us at [email protected].

Important Concepts
- Location-level inventory, aka Online Allocation, is the maximum spaces which Ocra will allow to be reserved during any time of day at a given location. Once that threshold is exceeded, Ocra will stop additional sales for the sold-out timeframe by placing blackouts in the channel.
- Applies to all locations that are using Universal Inventory (includes Full-Suite SaaS deals and Copilot deals)
- Product-level Inventory is one or more subsets of the Online Allocation number.
- Only applies to locations using multiple products, so primarily the Transient Vertical
- For example, your location could have 100 spaces allocated to online sales, but maybe you limit your Early Bird product to 30 if perhaps you want to limit the number of buyers who can reserve that special rate. Conversely, if you never adjust your Product-level inventory, then you should expect to see the same number available for every single product regardless of overlap. So, following earlier example, you would see 100 spaces for every Product and 100 spaces for the Location’s Online Allocation.
- Product-level inventory are like small buckets that when full, will spill over into the bigger bucket that is Online Allocation. Either bucket can trigger Ocra to stop sales in the channels. If a Product sells out, then the Ocra system will check to see if there are still spaces available at the Location-level before stopping sales. Using that earlier example, the EB could sell all 30spaces but since the location has 100 spaces, then most likely we can sell spaces from other Products at that location.
How to Update Inventory at the Product Level
- Log into your Ocra account then go to Universal Inventory
- In the top left dropdown be sure to select your location
- The information will populate for the location, and you can then toggle between a Day or Month view for a more granular or overview look at inventory:

- To continue with updating the inventory for a specific Vertical, click the box with the pencil that says “Update Inventory”.
- Select the relevant vertical from the modal that pops up; Airport, Event, Transient, or Monthly.
